I’ve given lot’s of hand knit stuff, but I don’t think anyone has really NOT liked anything 
I ordered the book 2 at a time socks and it arrived today!! so far it looks pretty simple to understand
right now it is -46C with windchill, what the frick?? damn weather!! it’s supposed to be like this until Friday.
My LYS got their new Socks that Rock shipment in last week and are putting it out today, I WAS going to go and get a couple skeins, now that plan is not going to happen 
hopefully they have the couple colorways I want still in by the end of the week (Pebble Beach being one of them, LOVE this one!)
I finished section 1 of Babette and started section 2!! the baby yarn is SO much nicer:) i’ll get a pic up a little later
I switched my Babette to baby yarn, I made the 1st 12 rnd sq with the Bernat and it’s HUGE, it also feels weird so I’m putting it away to make a diffrent blanket. the yarn is Bernat Softee Baby in candy baby, 2 white and rock-a-bye baby and the TLC baby isbunny print, kitten, naptime, fizzy print, giggles, lime, lilac and powder pink. I’m going back today to pick up a solid blue and a solid yellow I’m half-way through the 12 rnd sq. again and it’s much better!!
I picked up a copy of Favorite Socks, 2 balls of Regia Kaffe colors, and a new Addi in 2mm I also found out that they have the new Noro Kureyon sock yarn on order, should be there soon!! I went in to get some Socks that Rock but they’re still sold out, that’s on order too
edited to add — wanna hear something funny??? the Addi is a 60in. LMAO it’s friggin’ HUGE there is no way I can knit 1 sock on this without tangling it up!!

Weekly Topic: Dishrag. Dishcloth. Face cloth. I’ve seen folks get all fired up in forums when someone refers to their knit or crochet creation as a dishrag, as that’s somehow offensive to them! When you’re working on yours, what do you call them? Also, is there a difference between a dishrag and a dishcloth? How bout a facecloth? Are they all really the same thing?
I call it a dishcloth, is there a diffence between dishcloth and dishrag?? I don’t think so for a facecloth I would not use the same cotton as I do my dishcloths, it’s not very soft i’d look for a really soft, squisy yarn for those
I finished the 4-corners dishcloth it’s so pretty I love this pattern, I almost ran out of yarn I barely had enough to cast off, seam togeather and weave in a bit, there was literally a couple inches left, I used Bernat Handicrafter in Rainbow which is all I can get here and it’s always close like this they barely give enough for one dishcloth in those little balls I checked with a Sugar n Cream I have on hand from a swap and the bernat is 1.5 oz. and SnC is 2oz. I also have a Peaches n Cream on hand and that one is 2.5oz.. I checked all ombre colors because they always short out on those ones

I love my Clover Bamboo 4.5mm, but not too picky

I use Bernat Handicrafter to make my cloths. I love Lily’s Sugar N Cream cotton, but it’s not available here in stores

it is friggin windy and cold today brrrr!! I seen in my Knitting Daily email that they now carry the Babette blanket pattern, I so want this!!! I had that issue of Interweave Crochet but lost it somewhere (along with the winter ‘06 Interweave Knits can’t find that one either) I LOVE this blanket I need to try and get this
Over the last few weeks Al and I have been talking a lot and we’ve decided to get back togeather so i’ve been busy packing up and moving back we’re almost totally moved just a few more boxes left I’m happy we’re trying to work things out
